SIL stands for Supported Independent Living. It refers to a type of NDIS funding that helps people with disability live as independently as possible, while receiving the support they need — all within a shared or individual living arrangement.

SIL is not about the property itself. It's about the support workers who assist residents with daily tasks, personal care, medication, and community participation.

SIL is designed for NDIS participants who:

• Need daily support with personal care or household tasks
